Spend a semester or summer at the most diverse university in the United Kingdom. With several campuses throughout central and suburban London, you will take classes and live with local and international students and experience life as a British university student.
Students have the option of 4 "modules" (classes) or a 3 or 4 credit internship programme with 2 additional "modules."
Take classes in London Studies Programs designed for study abroad students (At least 1 is required for the 4 module option) as well in your major. Students are encouraged to choose level 4 or 5 modules and only select level 6 modules if they are specializing in the subject and meet the requirements (pre-requisites and/or portfolio review). Classes vary according to semester so make sure to pick up a course sheet in the Study Away Office and check Westminster's catalog for updates. Courses not listed on Jefferson - East Falls Campus course sheet are available but require additional approvals.
Students will participate in active learning classrooms with small sizes but will be expected to follow UK academic culture. Students will have less assessments that will be worth a higher proportion of their grade and less direct instructor management of day to day tasks. Deadlines and grading policies are very rigorous.
Application: Students complete an online application with Westminster in addition to their Jefferson - East Falls Application, which they should review with their Study Away advisor during their required appointment. Students must be nominated by the Jefferson East Falls Study Away Office for Westminster Education Abroad Staff to Consider their Application
GPA Requirement: 2.8 without restrictions.
